Black America had a 2nd Renaissance. Fashion, Music, Movies, TV Shows - the 90s and 2000s was a whole era!

What do we teach our children about how to respond when they experience racism?

Did you know we had 4 flags representing Black America?

Stories, proverbs, history, wisdom. Black Americans passed it down AND wrote it down.

We have a flag, a language, fashion, music, dance, food, and so much more!

Black America HAS a culture! And quiltmaking is ONE form of it. It was an artistry of Black Women that documented our stories.
