Design and Align a Life of Light, Freedom, and Truth

Hello! My name is Raquelle A. Smartt (she/her). I am a Therapist turned Happiness Coach. Happiness Coaching is similar to life coaching as it focuses on helping people attain greater fulfillment in their lives. However, happiness coaching in particular provides strategies to help you find your light inside of you and to help you create a harmonious life with it. 

 

I graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and minors in English and Psychology.

 

I graduated from the University of San Diego with a Master of Arts degree in Marital and Family Therapy.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who practiced for 6 years. I have specialized in treating children using play therapy and young adults who have experienced trauma using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have facilitated parenting and emotional regulation classes as well.

My life's purpose is to use my talents, knowledge, and voice to leave this world better than I found out. Providing Black America with skills to better themselves, their relationships, and their lives is one way to achieve that.
