Even thought I am a writer and a painter, I'm not particularly crafty. So I thought this would be more challenging for me. To the point, that I was looking for subscription boxes I could get with arts and crafts and ALL the supplies included. But it actually turned out better once I was honest with what I was NOT going to do. I wasn't going to be buying a whole bunch of materials.
I was going to stick to my curriculum: Heritage Months and Seasonal Holidays.
I would have worksheets to color, cut, and glue; maybe even ideas to paint. And that was it. And don't feel any guilt about it. (Now we are sending our daughter to preschool, so she will get that extra stuff later, but she will be creating which was the point for me.) The most I was going to have was construction paper.
So that being said, I just turned to Pinterest and looked up free printable downloads. There are some you can buy for cheap as well.
I included some examples from my daughter and I. (She was 2.5 to 3 years old)
Free Printables! Click to Download (for some reason people make it more complicated to download so I just included my Pinterest board where you can just download the image)
